Oak Cliff Pastor Found Dead In Motel In 'Unexplained Death'
Police say there were no signs of homicidal violence in Rev. Dr. Darick Favors' death.

DALLAS, TX — A man found dead Wednesday in the 7600 block of S. Central Expressway was identified as Rev. Dr. Darick Favors, 42.
Police responded to a deceased persons call at approximately 12:05 p.m. Wednesday and found Favors in the room. Investigators consider the incident an 'unexplained death.' A spokesperson for Dallas Police said investigators saw no signs of homicidal violence.
The police spokesperson told Patch, "the listed address appears to be a motel."

Favors was a pastor at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church at 623 E. Woodin Blvd. in Oak Cliff. His wife shared a post on the church's Facebook page Wednesday morning asking congregants for prayers.
