MO3 Murder: Jury selection continues in Dallas rapper murder-for-hire trial (fox4news.com) — Jury selection is underway in Dallas for the capital murder trial of Kewon White, accused in the 2020 I-35 shooting death of rapper MO3. Prosecutors allege the killing was part of a murder-for-hire plot tied to a feud involving Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, while the judge manages a high-profile courtroom that has already seen bloggers removed for intimidating potential jurors.
   

4. RCMA Opens Call for 2027 Roof Coatings Conference (roofingcontractor.com) — Dallas will host the 2027 International Roof Coatings Conference at The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa, bringing manufacturers, contractors, and researchers together Oct. 18–21, 2027. Organizers are now seeking presentation proposals on innovation, sustainability, performance, and real-world roof coating applications, with abstracts due October 1, 2026.
   

5. 2 Fort Worth firefighters hurt while fighting overnight house fire (fox4news.com) — A Fort Worth firefighter injured in an overnight house fire is now being treated at Parkland Hospital in Dallas after wind gusts suddenly intensified flames inside a Crowley Road home. Another firefighter is hospitalized in Fort Worth, while three residents escaped unharmed and are receiving help from the Red Cross as investigators work to determine the cause.
