Traffic Advisory in Effect for Dallas Spartan 2026
Streets and parking access around City Hall will be impacted starting on Thursday, April, 9.

The City of Dallas issued a travel advisory for the 2026 Dallas Spartan event to be held on Saturday, April 18. Here is where parking and access will be impacted starting on Thursday evening.
The city put out a press release with the advisory details on Wednesday. According to the press release, streets and parking access around City Hall will be impacted starting on Thursday, April 9 through Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
Main Street Garden Park, Harwood Park, Pacific Plaza, and Carpenter Park will have restricted access during the event. Parking meters around these parks will be hooded starting on Thursday at 5 p.m. to allow for event setup and staging and will continue through Tuesday at 9 p.m.

Additionally, parking meters along the event route will be hooded from 6 p.m. on April 17 through 5 p.m. on April 18.
The Dallas Spartan event features rope, climbs, carries, walls, and other technical challenges designed to push competitors to the limits of their strength, ability, and focus.

After traveling 5 km and overcoming 20 different obstacles, participants will cross the finish line at Dallas City Hall Plaza, where there will be a festival area set up.
Please note that parking is not available at City Hall during the event, however attendees can access nearby surface parking lots during race weekend.
