Winter Weather Likely Overnight Monday In Dallas
One-half inch of snow and ice is possible for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We will keep you updated on school and business closures.

DALLAS, TX — The National Weather Service warns North Texans of possible winter precipitation expected to move into the area late Monday. Ice is likely to form on roads and overpasses as a temperatures plunge below freezing and light rain falls across Dallas-Fort Worth.
A Winter Storm Watch was issued for the area south of the line connecting Goldthwaite, Hillsboro and Sulfur Springs. A Winter Weather Advisory, meanwhile, will affect the area south of the line between Breckenridge, Grapevine and Paris, which encompasses the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The highest amounts of winter precipitation will occur in a band from Waco to Corsicana to Canton, where snow could reach one to two inches. Less than one-half inch is expected in other areas of North Texas.
