Wrong Way Driver Causes Crash, Another Arrested Overnight
Police responded to two overnight incidents involving wrong way drivers. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

DALLAS, TX — Although most drivers could never fathom traveling the wrong way on a major highway, two Dallas motorists did just that overnight.
One wrong-way incident, which ended in a crash, occurred around 1:13 a.m. in the 8100 block of N. Central Expressway. Police say the driver of a gray Chevrolet Suburban was driving north in the southbound lanes of the highway.
The suburban collided with the front quarter and passenger side of a black Chevrolet Impala that was driving southbound in the far left lane, police said. The driver of the suburban ran away before officers arrived.

The driver, Maria Gomez-Juarez, then tried to make a U-turn and finally came to a stop within the City of Seagoville. She was arrested for evading arrest and taken to Lew Sterrett jail.
No crash occurred in the incident on CF Hawn Freeway, and no injuries were reported.
A bail amount has not yet been set for Gomez-Juarez.
