Austin Coronavirus Patient Discharged On His 48th Birthday
A patient with the coronavirus at St. David's South Austin Medical Center was discharged on his birthday after overcoming the disease.

AUSTIN, TX — A patient battling the new coronavirus at St. David's South Austin Medical Center has been discharged after overcoming the disease it caused. To make a good day even better, he was released from the hospital on his birthday.
The patient was treated for COVID-19 at the medical center for two weeks and was discharged Monday, which also happened to be his 48th birthday.
Hospital staff members sang "Happy Birthday" to him as he was wheeled out of the hospital, giving him a proper send-off.
