From noon to 8 p.m. on Nov. 4, Austin Central Library celebrates its latest music project with music-filled, family-friendly and free event.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — There's no better way to launch a new music streaming service than with an all-day, music-filled party. And so, on Sunday, the main library will do just that.

From noon to 8 p.m. on Nov. 4, the Austin Central Library is scheduled to celebrate the launch of its latest music project, Electric Lady Bird, that will stream fresh sounds from the Austin music scene. The launch takes the form of music-filled celebration, with a free community event at the central library branch.

"Streaming from Austin Public Library to audiences everywhere, Electric Lady Bird delivers commercial-free, curated music from Central Texas artists," according to the library website. "Featuring multiple genres and homegrown musicians, Electric Lady Bird seeks out the best of Austin’s music scene and serves it up, 24/7, through a user-friendly digital music platform.:
