Austin Police Search For Motorist Who Fled After Hitting Pedestrian Along 6th Street
A description of the suspect and his vehicle was issued for motorist who hit pedestrian before fleeing the scene.

AUSTIN, TX — Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a traffic collision during after which the motorist failed to stop and render aid to the struck pedestrian.
The Austin Police Department Highway Enforcement Command's Leaving the Scene Unit issued a request on Thursday for anyone who may have witnessed the incident. It occurred on May 16 in the 700 block of East 6th St. at around 11:18 p.m., police said.
The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair who stands at about five feet, nine inches in height. He is of average build and had dirty hands. The car the suspect was driving is described as a white or silver sedan possibly bearing an out-of-state license plate similar to PN1B0D.

The pedestrian in the incident was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police told Patch.
