Shooter Sought By Police After 2 Hurt On 6th Street In Austin
Police on Thursday described the suspect in a New Year's Day shooting that occurred at the notorious Terminal 6 downtown nightclub.

AUSTIN, TX — Police on Thursday issued a plea for help from the public in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a New Year's Day shooting on 6th Street that left two people seriously hurt.
The incident occurred at the Terminal 6 club at 302 E. 6th St. at 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1. Police said two people were shot in the culmination of a disturbance that occurred inside the nightclub. A man and woman were transported to the hospital with injuries that, while serious, were not deemed to be life-threatening.
Both victims are 19 years old, a police officials said during an afternoon press conference. The male victim was seriously injured, but was later treated and released from the hospital. The official added the condition of the young woman, who is from San Antonio, is unknown. It's unclear how two minors were allowed to be at the club where alcohol is serve, which reportedly is due to shut down after the latest shooting.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s to mid-30s standing between five feet, seven inches, to six feet in height while weighing between 160 to 180 pounds. He has long, black dreadlocks and a trimmed beard. Police added the suspect was last seen wearing a multi-colored, long-sleeved shirt.
