Viva Cinema: Screening And Conversation Of Film 600 Millas
The Bullock Museum's Viva Cinema Series features acclaimed Spanish-language movies, Including this months screening of 600 Millas.

AUSTIN, TX -- The Bullock Texas State History Museum will host a screening and conversation of the film 600 Millas (600 Miles) next weekend.
The screening is scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. as part of the Viva Cinema series showcasing acclaimed Spanish-language films.
Gabriel Rapstein's debut feature film, 600 Millas, follows two young gun smugglers on the Arizona-Mexico border and an ATF agent who attempts to apprehend them. The film explores the drama that unfolds as a result of the chase and everything that follows.

Viva Cinema, in partnership with Cine Las Americas, celebrates Mexico's modern cinema. Films in the Viva Cinema Series are presented in Spanish with English subtitles. In addition to the screening of 600 Millas, the evening will feature a Q&A with award-winning journalist, Melissa del Bosque and Jean Ann Lauer, moderator and Cine Las Americas Festival Director. Attendees may arrive as early as 6 PM and take part in a welcome reception with cash bar.
