Staff presented a series of proposed amendments to City Council on June 2. The amendments include changes to zoning, noise, water, and economic development standards.

The recommendations are designed to use tools under the city's regulatory authority to protect nearby neighborhood and resources while ensuring the city can responsibly manage growth, maintain oversight, and capture any economic benefits.

Anyone unable to make the event can still fill out an online input survey.

The city's Zoning Commission is scheduled to take action on the proposed zoning amendments on July 8. If recommended for approval, the package will move forward to City Council for consideration.

City Council action on the full package is scheduled for Aug. 11.
