Young child dies in shooting after finding unsecured gun at Fort Worth apartment (star-telegram.com) — Police say a young child between 3 and 5 died after finding an unsecured gun and shooting themself at the Patriot Pointe Apartments in south Fort Worth on Saturday night. Officers are investigating who owns the firearm and how the child accessed it, and at least one adult was present.
