The dispute pits her late legal father's estate against her biological father in Nigeria, with the family asking a Tarrant County probate court to pause payments while the settlement terms are resolved.
   

3. Fort Worth flies into the future as center of new air taxi testing program (fortworthreport.org) — Fort Worth's Stockyards and Perot Field Alliance Airport are key test sites in Texas' new Project Nexus, which is trialing electric air taxis and other advanced air mobility technologies. Over the next three years, flights will connect Fort Worth with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and other Texas cities, laying groundwork for future passenger, cargo, and medical transport routes.

Fort Worth mural celebrates Dolly Parton's legacy, draws fans for selfies and tributes (wfaa.com) — A new Dolly Parton mural at Fort Worth's historic Stagecoach Ballroom is drawing locals for selfies, memories, and quiet tributes after the singer's recent death. Artist Juan Velasquez and photographer Roman Pena created the piece to reflect Parton's kindness and community spirit, adding a fresh chapter to a venue long central to the city's country music history.
