• Fort Worth Housing Solutions to open Babers Manor in Stop Six (fortworthreport.org) — Babers Manor, a new Fort Worth Housing Solutions community in Stop Six, will celebrate its grand opening on Sept. 23 as part of a larger plan replacing the former Cavile Place public housing. Along with Cowan Place and Hughes House phases, the project will ultimately bring more than 900 mixed-income units, new amenities, and commercial space to the neighborhood.

Performances continue this weekend, giving Fort Worth music lovers multiple chances to hear the program downtown.

• Jaden Craig, TCU bounce back with throttling of Grambling (statenews.net) — TCU fans in Fort Worth saw a dominant 63-7 home win over Grambling, with quarterback Jaden Craig throwing for 391 yards and four touchdowns and adding 53 rushing yards. The Horned Frogs bounced back from their season-opening loss with 676 yards of total offense and two second-half interceptions, including a pick-six. Local supporters can take heart in the team's explosive response on both sides of the ball.
