• Southeast Texas police departments turn to drones for a new perspective on crime scenes (12newsnow.com) — Police in nearby Port Arthur are increasingly using drones to document crashes, reconstruct crime scenes, and safely check risky locations, and they've already assisted departments in Groves and Port Neches. As Beaumont tests similar technology, Groves residents may see more drone-supported investigations helping officers assess dangerous situations before approaching in person.
