Four Fatal Accidents Occurred In The Houston This Past Weekend
Four males were killed in Houston over the weekend after being struck by a vehicle or getting into accidents.

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is investigating four different fatal accidents that occurred around the city starting Friday. Below are the details for each accident.
Sunday: 7600 Westheimer about 3:15 a.m.
A male victim, 22, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, HPD said in a news release. The driver of a gray Honda SUV had exited a fast food restaurant when he crossed four lanes of traffic and was hit by a red Honda motorcycle driven by the victim.

"According to witnesses, the victim was traveling above the speed limit at the time of the crash and may have been traveling up and down Westheimer throughout the night at high rates of speed," HPD said.
The driver of the Honda SUV remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. There are no charges in this incident, as the investigation is continuing.

Saturday: 200 Gulf Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 North) about 2:30 a.m.
A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
"The victim was operating a red Honda motorcycle northbound on the Gulf Freeway entrance ramp from Pease Street when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a concrete barrier," HPD wrote.
The victim was ejected, went over the barrier, and struck some tree branches before falling approximately 20 feet to the ground.
Friday: 7100 Gulf Freeway about 9:05 p.m.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
"The victim was crossing the northbound lanes of the freeway on foot when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The unidentified driver of the vehicle fled the scene," HPD said.

Friday: 13800 Gulf Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 South) service road about 2:15 a.m.
The male victim, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The driver of a stolen white Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound on the Scarsdale exit ramp from the Gulf Freeway when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck the median dividing the exit ramp from the service road, HPD said.
"The Elantra then struck a sign on the median, crossed the southbound lanes of the service road, and struck a light pole.The front male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene," HPD said.
The two rear seat passengers were transported by paramedics to area hospitals in unknown condition. The juvenile driver, 16, was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the carjacking of the Elantra that occurred about 45 minutes prior to the crash.
