Students from Harmony School of Advancement earned top honors at the 2026 Skills USA District 8 Leadership and Skills Conference, bringing home gold, silver, and bronze medals across a range of technical fields, including engineering, computer science, and health sciences. Many of the competitors have secured spots at the Texas State SkillsUSA Conference, scheduled for April 8 through April 11. Among the top performers were students who won gold medals in Principles of Engineering and Technology and Computer Programming, both of which qualified them for advancement to the state level. Additional state qualifiers include silver medalists in Robotics and Automation Technology, Architectural Drafting, and Electronics Technology. Students also earned a silver medal in Crime Scene Investigation and a bronze in Web Design and Development.

Harmony students also performed strongly in job exhibit presentations, with several teams and individuals advancing to state in categories such as Health Sciences Display Panel, Culinary Restaurant Model, Engineering Design exhibits, Electronic Design, and Baking and Pastry Arts.

“We’re incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and look forward to supporting them as they compete at the state level,” said Principal Sonmez.
