Harmony School of Advancement Students Shine at Statewide SkillsUSA Conference

Students earn top honors, including first place and Best of Show, at the Texas State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Harmony School of Advancement is celebrating a strong showing at the 2026 SkillsUSA Competition. Students represented the school with distinction, earning top honors across multiple categories and demonstrating both technical expertise and professionalism.

Several students secured first place finishes, with standout performances in engineering, health sciences, culinary arts, and electronics. Victor D. earned first place in Engineering Related Design Exhibit and was also awarded the prestigious “Best of Show.” Jhana S. and Jolie V. took first place in the Health Sciences Display Panel, while Diego B. and Diego R. won top honors for their Culinary Restaurant Model. Talya A. placed first in Electronic Design, and Angelina R. also secured first place in Engineering Related Design Exhibit (Multiple).

Second place honors were also earned by several students. Victor D. and Yunus K. placed second in Robotics and Automation Technology. Miguel T. earned second place in Drafting CAD Architectural Project, and Sharmin R. took second in Baking and Pastry Arts.

School officials credited the success to both student dedication and strong faculty support. Special recognition was given to instructors Mr. Ekinci, Mr. Alici, and Ms. Guven for their mentorship and guidance.

The school community expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments and optimism for their continued success in future competitions.
