Nearly 600 area-wide retailers are participating in this year’s Holiday Shopping Card campaign. The Holiday Shopping Card offers shoppers a 20 percent discount at participating retailers from October 21 to October 31. The Card may be purchased online or in-store at any participating retailer. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Over the past 100 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has been working relentlessly to end cancer. The US cancer death rate has dropped 31% since 1991, resulting in 3.2 million fewer deaths. ACS has invested more than $5 billion in cancer research, funding scientists and medical professionals through multi-year grants that focus on prevention, screening, treatment, and survivorship to help reduce the burden today and in the future. Progress has been made, but more work needs to be done.

Participating retailers include (but not limited to): Bering’s Hardware, Elizabeth Anthony, Steelz for the Home, Kuhl-Linscomb, Tootsies, Vincent Ford Custom Apparel, Williams Sonoma, Veronica Beard, Run On! By JackRabbit, Manready Mercantile, Carrabba’s – The Original on Kirby, Palazzo's Cafe and Christie’s Seafood & Steaks.
