A Childhood Put on Hold

Mark was recently diagnosed with a life-threatening illness that has shocked his family and our local community. Instead of the classroom, his days are now filled with doctors, treatments, and hospital walls.

Despite the pain and fear, Mark has shown a courage that puts most adults to shame. But courage alone cannot pay the mounting medical bills that are overwhelming his parents.

A Parents' Nightmare

No parent is prepared to hear the words that Mark's parents heard. They are now dedicated 24/7 to his care, often at the cost of their ability to work. The financial strain of specialized pediatric care is devastating.
