Willie Mike of Houston and Shayne Wells of Spring are Ready for Redemption on MasterChef: Back to Win
Two Texas chefs are back on TV for another shot at being crowned America's next MasterChef! Willie Mike of Houston and Shayne Wells of Spring have earned their white aprons once again, competing on the show's new season, MasterChef: Back to Win. This season marks the show's first ever All-Stars competition, where all contestants are returning for redemption.
Mike competed on Season 5 of MasterChef, placing 7th overall. Affectionally called "Big Willie," Mike is known on the show for his big heart and kind personality. Formerly a Church Music Director, Mike is currently a caterer in the Houston area. You can check out his latest catering menus on his Facebook HERE.
Wells is a former competitor on Season 5 of MasterChef Junior, where he placed 3rd overall. Wells is known by his nickname "Shayne the Train," given to him by his school football team. Now 19 years old, Wells is back in the MasterChef kitchen for the first time since he was 13. Wells is currently a cook and server, who is no stranger to television. He also competed on the Disney+ competition show Be Our Chef in 2020 alongside his family.
