Hurricane Harvey's Aftermath: Flights Resume From Bush, Houston Hobby Airports
Flights were suspended at both airports as Hurricane Harvey pummeled the Houston area with severe rain over a five-day period.

HOUSTON, TX — Flights from Houston’s Hobby Airport and Bush Intercontinental Airport announced they will resume flights starting Wednesday afternoon.

Hurricane Harvey dumped an average of 50 inches of rainfall in the Houston area, which is about equal to about 19 trillion gallons of water, according to the Washington Post.
