HOUSTON — Seven campuses from Harmony Public Schools have been named 2026 Schools of Character, recognized for their efforts to foster strong cultures of character on their campuses and in their communities.
The awards were announced this week by Character.org, a national organization that promotes character development in schools.
Each year, Character.org designates schools and districts at the state and national levels that demonstrate a sustained commitment to character education. The organization says such efforts contribute to improved academic achievement, student behavior and overall school climate.
