Smashburger to Open New Location With First Virtual Drive-Thru-Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (March 1, 2023) – Fans of Smashburger are getting another Houston location and the fastest, most convenient way to pick up their favorites from the better-burger brand: a virtual drive-thru lane for diners ordering ahead on the website or by mobile app.

The new restaurant and virtual drive-thru will debut March 1 at 5102 Richmond Avenue in Houston near the Galleria. Starting Thursday, March 2 through Saturday, March 4, guests will be treated to three mouthwatering Grand Opening offers:

• Thursday, March 2 -$5 Single Classic
• Friday, March 3 - $8 S’Mac and Cheese Burger combo w/Fountain Beverage

• Saturday, March 4 - $10 Wings and a 16oz Beer (draft only)

The new location will also host a community charity event with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston throughout the grand opening weekend. Starting Friday through Sunday, $1 from every Double Smash® Burger sold at the new Houston location will benefit the local Boys & Girls Club.

This will be Smashburger’s fourth Houston location and its sixteenth in Texas. It will seat 34 diners in its 1,538-square-foot interior and 36 on an outdoor patio.

Now it’s serving a better pickup experience with the virtual drive-thru, a dedicated lane where diners who’ve ordered ahead can grab their meal and go faster than ever.

Whether ordering in person or virtually, dining in or driving thru, guests at the new location will enjoy all the menu classics Smashburger is famous for. Along with a satisfying selection of made-to-order burgers, they can choose from grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, turkey and black bean burgers, wings, fresh salads, and signature sides like Crispy Brussels Sprouts and SmashFries®.
