Texas ranks high for worst exes in America, survey says
All my exes live in Texas, and they aren't great.

Everything is surely bigger in Texas—But not always better. According to a new survey, Texas has been ranked as the No. 2 state with the worst exes.
The survey considered factors such as the number of exes per capita, stalking behavior, and the likelihood of exes spreading rumors or causing drama after a breakup. Florida took the crown for the state with the worst exes, but Texas is close behind.
This may come as a shock to many Texans who are known for their southern hospitality and strong family values, but the survey results suggest that they may be falling short when it comes to romantic relationships. One possible reason for our poor ranking could be our high divorce rate. Texas has one of the country's highest divorce rates, which could mean Lone Star daters struggle to commit and maintain long-term relationships.

Another factor that could be contributing to the high ranking is Texas' large population. With over 29 million people, Texas is one of the most populous states in the US—Which means there's a lot more room for spiteful exes.
However, it's worth noting that the survey doesn't mean that all Texans are terrible exes. It just highlights a potential issue with our romantic culture that we should address.
