Vego Garden Gives Back to Community With New Program

HOUSTON (November 9, 2022) – Vego Garden is an award-winning raised garden bed company that was founded with the goal of using eco-friendly materials to inspire a greener future for the world.

As not many people have the space to grow and cultivate quality food, Vego has made it a goal to make gardening and farming available to everyone. With the new #VegoGardenKids program, Vego is furthering that initiative to younger demographics, in hopes to inspire an entire generation.

Offered at a special price less than the cost of production, young little ones can start their own Kids First Garden Beds for only $59.95. Included with the kit are educational activity pages and Explorer Badge Stickers to decorate their own Vego bed. Vego hopes to share a priceless experience with children and spark a life-long passion for nature by introducing them to gardening.

“A large portion of why we created this initiative is to help the farming and gardening industry,” said Robert Xiong, founder at Vego Garden. “Farmers are often underappreciated for their work and are leaving their jobs to pursue a less risky career. We want the world to see that raising and growing food is one of the most important jobs one can have. Without someone growing the food, the world does not eat.”

Vego is now the leading brand in raised garden beds and has an extensive giving back program on top of their new #vegogardenkids launch. The company donates one kit for every fifty sets sold to people, communities and schools who will benefit from gardening. Xiong says that placing the garden beds in these communities is often the most rewarding part of the give-back program.
