• The Maxwell Twins: From Atascocita to the World U20 Podium (milesplit.com) — Two sprinting stars who grew up in Humble and attended Atascocita High have climbed all the way to the World U20 podium, bringing global attention back home. The Maxwell twins' journey runs through Humble ISD, local clubs in Katy, and standout performances at Texas and national meets before their medal-winning races in Eugene. 
• Houston VA Sees Record-Breaking Surge in Veterans Enrolling for Health Care (va.gov) — Humble-area veterans could soon see expanded VA health services, as Houston VA plans larger community clinics in Humble and other nearby cities to handle a record surge in new patients. The system is adding facilities, extending clinic hours, and hiring more staff while its main Houston medical center also prepares for expansion and additional parking to support the growing veteran population.
