The City of Irving has no current plans to shut off water; however residents should conserve water as much as possible for the next few days. Water Utilities crews are responding 24/7 to residential and commercial water and sewer emergencies. Do not panic about community and social media rumors about tap water availability in North Texas.

At this time, Irving Water Utilities is asking customers to limit water usage in their homes and businesses to only essential purposes from Wednesday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, Feb. 21. The community is asked to only use water-intensive appliances and operations when absolutely necessary, including dishwashers and washing machines. However, residents and businesses are encouraged to continue dripping faucets to keep pipes from freezing.
