• Fallen Cove officer among those honored in Texas Brotherhood Ride (fox44news.com) — A weeklong Texas Brotherhood Ride honoring nine fallen first responders set off from Lake Jackson on Sunday and will finish in Fort Worth later this week. Riders are paying tribute to officers and firefighters from across Texas, including Copperas Cove Officer Elijah Garretson, who was fatally shot in January while on duty. Local residents are encouraged to keep the cyclists' safety in mind as they travel.
