5th Subway Sandwich Shop In 2 Months Robbed: UT-Austin Police
Campus police said a man robbed the fast food restaurant on San Antonio Street near West 24th Street Tuesday night.

AUSTIN, TX — For the fifth time in two months, a Subway sandwich shop was robbed on Tuesday night, police said.
University of Texas at Austin police said the armed robbery occurred at the Subway on San Antonio Street near West 24th Street at around 10 p..m. Campus police were on the lookout for suspect, a man in his 30s who was said to be wearing baggy clothing.
The heist marks the fifth time a Subway has been robbed in just the past two months. Earlier this month, Dietra Lashell Lee, 42, was charged with four of those robberies. Lee was accused in the following robberies:

- Jan. 19 in the Dobie dormitory at 20th and Guadalupe streets;
- Jan. 19 at 24th and San Antonio streets;
- Jan. 22 in the Dobie dormitory at 20th and Guadalupe streets;
- Feb. 2 on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and San Antonio Street.

APD has notified UTPD that an armed robbery has just occurred at the Subway at 2323 San Antonio. Witnesses described the suspect as a light skinned black male wearing baggy clothing, mid 30's. Please avoid the area.
