Ex-North Austin Church Worker Had Sex With Minor 11, 12 Times
Details emerge after arrested of Nicole Marie Faires Andrews arrest, who started relationship with high school student she met at church.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Additional details emerged Wednesday via an affidavit about a former Cedar Park Middle School teachers's sexual relationship with a minor she met at a North Austin church.
According to an arrest affidavit referenced by the Austin American-Statesman in a report, Nicole Marie Faires Andrews allegedly had sexual contact with a male student from Vandegrift High School between 11 to 12 times. She's been charged with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between an educator and student, both second-degree felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
On Nov. 28, the boy reportedly told police from the Travis County Sheriff's Office the number of times he had engaged in sex with the woman. He said Andrews also sent him a topless photo of herself via social media, according to the newspaper report based on the affidavit.

The two are said to have met at the Church of Canyon Creek, 9001 FM 620 in Northwest Austin, where Andrews was a volunteer youth administrator, according to previous reports. Church officials confirmed to the newspaper Andrews served in that capacity at the house of worship, but declined further comment.

According to police findings, Andrews was still a teacher at Cedar Park Middle School while she carried on the relationship with the high school student. A Leander ISD spokesman told the Statesman she worked at the middle school from August 2015 until her Nov. 6 resignation. Vandegrift High School also is operated by the Leander ISD.
