GoFundMe Page Set Up For Man Killed While Cliff-Diving With Friends At Lake Travis
Tai Le, 21, of Garland, Texas, was celebrating with friends on a party barge when the group decided to go cliff diving.

AUSTIN, TX — A GoFundMe drive has been launched to help defray funeral costs of a man who drowned after having been cliff-diving at Lake Travis with friends last weekend.
Tai Le, 21, of Garland, Texas, had been on a party barge with friends last Sunday when he joined others cliff diving into the lake. Le failed to re-surface after his final dive, prompting a massive rescue effort from land, water and sky via a STAR Flight helicopter.
After several hours of searching, however, the rescue mission became a recovery effort. By Monday, divers found his body in about 50 feet of water.

In celebrating his life, those setting up the page urged his friends to enjoy each other's company in their travels, just like he enjoyed being with loved ones in his many travels throughout Texas.
"He made sure every relationship he shared was headed towards some sort of deep connection, making the drive to different areas of Texas, even if it was just for a few hours," the page reads. "He showed everyone how to make every second of your life here on Earth, a memorable and appreciative one. So let’s all join together in these times to do what he would have wanted us to do. Be together."
At last check, the crowdsourcing drive for funds had raised nearly $16,000 of a $17,500 goal.
