Person Dies In Pflugerville Indoor Firing Range Shooting (UPDATE)
Victim suffered self-inflicted gunshot wound at Red's Indoor Range North, 1908 W Pecan St., and succumbs to injury early Monday.

UPDATE: A person died from injuries sustained after a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a shooting range on Sunday, according to reports.
The person was critically injured from what officials later described as a self-inflicted wound sustained on Sunday afternoon at Red's Indoor Range North, 1908 W. Pecan St., the Austin American-Statesman reported. The victim later succumbed to the injury at a local hospital.
Police eliminated foul play, categorizing the incident as an isolated one. The victim was the only person involved in the shooting, officials added. Police have not released the identity of the person shot.

This is at least the second self-inflicted injury call at a Red's Indoor Range location in as many years. In May 2016, police were called to the other gun range location at U.S. 290 near William Cannon Drive amid reports of an attempted suicide.
Police said no other people were harmed in that incident, providing no further details.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A person is in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound at a local firing range on Sunday, according to reports.
The incident occurred at around 1 p.m. at Red's Indoor Range North, 1908 W Pecan St., the Austin American-Statesman reported. Officers responded to the scene to assist EMS medics, according to reports.
No further details have been made available, but police suggested the shooting appears to be accidental. Police did not disclose the age or gender of the person injured.
