Pflugerville ALDI Store Schedules Hiring Event

PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS — Grocer ALDI has scheduled an upcoming hiring event on Wednesday to fill positions at its Pflugerville store, company officials said.

The job fairs will be staged Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store located on 1415 FM 685 Rd. Store officials previously conducted a job fair there on Nov. 8. In alerting Patch to the job fair via email, ALDI officials called the grocery store chain as "...one of the fastest-growing retailers in the U.S.," offering "market-leading" wages and health insurance.

Based in Germany, the grocer opened its Pflugerville store on November 2017 with considerable fanfare. The local store marked the company's entry into the Austin market.

Pflugerville store officials seek to fill store associate positions that start at a wage of $13.10 per hour. Eligibility requires applicants be at least 18 years old, preferably with a high school diploma or GED. In terms of requirements, officials prefer candidates with retail experience and who are able to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m Sunday through Monday. Those applying must have the ability to lift up to 45 pounds, officials added..
