Pflugerville Council Approves $50K Grant To Spur Corporate Relocation
Flooring Services Southwest is relocating its headquarters from Austin, infusing a $20M investment and creating 140 local jobs.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville City Council members this week unanimously approved a $50,000 relocation grant as inducement for a company to relocate its headquarters from Austin.
On Tuesday, the council granted the grant to Flooring Services Southwest officials to build a facility in Pflugerville, which will serve as its Central Texas headquarters. As previously reported, the company broke ground on their local facility earlier this month at 130 Commerce Center.
Company officials have estimated their investment will total some $20 million and generate an immediate 140 local jobs. The company bought the 30 acres of land on which construction is taking place from the Pflugerville Community Development Corp.

The first phase of the project includes construction of a 187,000-square-foot facility containing office and warehouse space. The second phase calls for construction of a 73,000-square-foot facility where the manufacturing of stone counter top materials will take place.
