Staff just celebrated saving Bowzer from the urgent list, and they're inviting locals to visit in person or browse adoptable animals online. • CTHS's budding engineers now print their destiny in three dimensions. (pasadenian.com) — Engineering students at Pasadena ISD's Career and Technical High School now have new 3D printers, funded by the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation, to turn their designs into real-world projects. The equipment is boosting engagement and giving current and future students hands-on experience with industry-level technology, helping them build skills for engineering, manufacturing, and other STEM careers.
• Who needs day care at midnight? More Houston parents than you might think. (houstonchronicle.com) — A 24/7 Houston daycare near Bellaire is filling a major childcare gap for parents working overnight or irregular shifts, and some families are coming from as far as Pasadena to use it. The center's long-running around-the-clock model, supported by daytime revenue, helps workers in hospitals, service jobs, and other late-hour roles find safe care when few other options exist.
