San Angelo police seek victims of KO storage burglaries reported May through July (myfoxzone.com) — San Angelo police are asking anyone whose KO Storage unit was burglarized between May and July to come in and file a report so recovered property can be matched to victims. If you rented at the Permian Drive or Ben Ficklin Road locations, bring proof of rental plus a detailed list and values of missing items to the police station on Beauregard Avenue. 
2. San Angelo City Council to Weigh $47.2 Million Coliseum Renovation Contract Tuesday (sanangelolive.com) — San Angelo residents have a big decision unfolding Tuesday as City Council considers a $47.2 million renovation contract for the San Angelo Coliseum and related agreements with the Stock Show and Rodeo Association. The public can attend or watch the 8:30 a.m. meeting, weigh in during public comment, and stay for a budget workshop that will shape the 2026–27 city budget.
3. Wildfire risk rises in Tom Green County as temps climb (conchovalleyhomepage.com) — With triple-digit heat and drying grass around San Angelo, Tom Green County's burn ban remains in effect and wildfire danger is climbing. Fire experts urge residents to check burn regulations, sign up for emergency alerts, and use extreme caution with any spark-producing work like welding or grinding to help prevent human-caused fires.
4. County Commissioners Voted for Themselves a Big, Fat Pay Raise (sanangelolive.com) — Tom Green County commissioners meeting in San Angelo have preliminarily approved sizable pay and compensation increases for themselves and other elected officials for fiscal year 2027. The plan folds auto allowances into base salaries and adds a 3% cost-of-living raise, pushing commissioner compensation into the mid-to-upper range compared with similar Texas counties.
5. San Angelo man arrested after allegedly stabbing man 11 times in Paintbrush Alley: affidavit (conchovalleyhomepage.com) — San Angelo police arrested a 31-year-old man after another man reported being stabbed multiple times with scissors in Paintbrush Alley and sought treatment at Shannon Medical Center. According to an affidavit, investigators documented numerous stab wounds, collected blood evidence at the scene, and later detained the suspect nearby, where he allegedly described an escalating dispute over loud phone noise and slurs.
