Here are the top stories in San Antonio today:

  1. For a limited time, Chipotle Mexican restaurants are adding "pollo asado" (roast chicken) to their menu. Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer, said, "Chicken is easily our most popular protein, with many of our most loyal Chipotle customers ordering it the majority of the time." He added, "We're thrilled to introduce fans to another flavor of chicken that brings a whole new dimension to any Chipotle order and will certainly be a crowd pleaser." From March 14-20, the chain restaurants will also waive "delivery fees for customers who order 'pollo asado' through the app and online." For more details visit: (KSAT San Antonio)
  2. After two years of not being held due to COVID-19, the San Antonio International Women's Day March is returning and will take place on Saturday, March 12 at Travis Park. The march ties in with International Women's Day, which was on Tuesday, March 8. During the event, "participants will march to defend abortion rights and the rights of trans youths." Their slogan this year is "¡No nos moverán! We Will Not Be Moved!" which "is inspired by activist and labor organizer Emma Tenayuca, a leader of San Antonio's Pecan Sheller's Strike of the 1930s." The march will start off at 10 a.m. "with an indigenous blessing and a rally." For more details visit: (San Antonio Current)
  3. St. Patrick's Day occurs every year on March 17, and there are plenty of ways for "people of both Irish and non-Irish heritages" to celebrate the Irish holiday in San Antonio! From taking a walk down The River Walk dyed in emerald green, to drinking and dining at local Irish pubs and more, there is something for everyone starting that day throughout that weekend!
