  1. On Wednesday, Feb. 9, city officials announced that the Battle of Flowers and Fiesta Flambeau Parade routes have changed as a result of the construction on Broadway downtown. Previously "the parades started at Broadway and East Grayson, near the Pearl." Now they will start "several blocks west, to Main and Locust" and instead of going down Broadway, they will occur along Main Avenue toward Brooklyn Avenue. "As before, the parade will cross in front of the Alamo in the heart of the city before hitting its new homestretch along Commerce and St. Mary's." The 2022 Battle of Flowers Parade will be on Friday, April 8 and The Fiesta Flambeau Parade will take place on Saturday, April 9. Tickets will be available starting in March. For more information visit: (KENS5.com)
  2. "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways" to celebrate Valentine's Day in San Antonio! Ten events will take place in the Alamo City starting Saturday, Feb. 12 until Thursday, Feb. 17. "Whether you're single, celebrating Galentine's Day with friends or looking for something fun to do with a date," you will probably love going to one, two, three or more! Go for brunch and coffee or mimosas with friends. Drink and dine and listen to jazz tunes with your significant other. Enjoy a concert by yourself under the stars.
