Santiago Bueno, Leija's story shows how 9/11 memories and neighborhood pride continue shaping young San Antonians' paths of service.
   

4. 'We were shocked': Thief caught on camera stealing thousands of dollars in equipment from south side auto shop (kens5.com) — A long-running family auto shop on San Antonio's south side is asking neighbors for help after a man stole several high-value diagnostic scanners and a drill in broad daylight. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect and his Dodge Charger, and San Antonio police are investigating while the owners hope someone recognizes him and helps recover their vital equipment.
   

5. Fiesta San Antonio members to choose official 2027 poster design at '5 to 1' event (ksat.com) — Fiesta San Antonio members have just voted on the official 2027 poster design during a '5 to 1' event at the San Antonio Garden Center, though the winning artwork stays secret until January 28, 2027. With Fiesta 2027 set for April 15–25, organizers say the poster helps symbolize a celebration that pumps hundreds of millions into San Antonio's economy and local nonprofits.
