The University of Texas at San Antonio has several departments and centers focused on cybersecurity, making them great partners of the Chamber’s Cybersecurity Council. Several UTSA offices are seeking mentors from the business community to participate in the Protecting Our Communities Initiative. This is a collaboration between the MITRE corporation and UTSA’s Center for Information Assurance and Security whose aim is to mitigate risks of soft targets, such as faith-based and nonprofit organizations, through cybersecurity risk assessments facilitated by UTSA students and mentors from MITRE and local businesses.
