• Champion Acquires 58 Acres in Houston Metro for Future Expansion (ewweb.com) — A Spring-based manufacturer, Champion Fiberglass, has bought 58 acres in north Houston, about 15 minutes from its Spring headquarters, to support major future expansion. Company leaders say the new land will allow them to boost production, improve customer service, and roll out new products starting in 2027, potentially strengthening jobs and industrial activity for the Spring area. 
• An Attempt at Donating a Kidney Led Her to a Diagnosis (nytimes.com) — A woman living in Spring began a kidney-donor evaluation at Houston Methodist Hospital and, in the process, moved closer to understanding years of debilitating fatigue, pain, and strange episodes. Her story follows how a generous offer to help her aunt led doctors to dig deeper into unexplained symptoms that had slowly shrunk her once-active life.
