• Woman jailed in Wichita Falls in connection with baby's death (timesrecordnews.com) — Wichita Falls police have jailed a former resident on a $250,000 bond, accusing her of concealing the body of her infant child to hinder a local death investigation. Authorities say the child died in Wichita Falls in 2023 and was later found encased in cement in the family's North Dakota home. Investigators here are still awaiting autopsy results while related charges continue in both states.
