Popular Chicken Product Pulled From Shelves May Contain Metal
Consumers complained of finding small metal pieces in their chicken nuggets, and one person has been injured, said health officials.

WASHINGTON, DC — Tyson Foods is recalling 29,819 pounds of a popular chicken product after consumers found metal pieces in their shaped "Fun Nuggets," said health officials. One person reported a minor oral injury after eating the product, said the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Saturday.
The frozen chicken patty product was shipped to distributors in nine states, according to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Some people who ate the product complained of finding small metal pieces, said health officials. The Food Safety Inspection Service is urging people to check their freezers to see if they bought the affected chicken, and either throw them away or return them. Only one injury has been reported as of Saturday evening.
