President Trump Has Second News Conference In Two Days: White House Schedule October 17

THE PRESIDENT

In the morning, President Trump meets with Secretary of Defense James Mattis.

In the afternoon, he meets with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of Greece, They gave a working lunch and hten a joint press conference.

In the evening, he heads to the Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C.where he speaks to the Heritage Foundation’s President’s Club Meeting before heading back to the White House for the evening.

THE VICE PRESIDENT

Vice President Pence heads to Buffalo, NY to participate in a political reception with Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY).

They then meet with what the White House describes as " local businesses, community leaders, and New York families" to talk about the president's tax plan.

WHITE HOUSE DAILY BRIEFING

There's nothing scheduled, which is not unusual fir days the president has a scheduled press conference.
