Newtown Borough, PA

The Newtown Experience will hold the 2nd annual “Newtown Porchstock” on Saturday, September 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Porchstock is a free, walkable music festival held on front porches, front yards or driveways throughout Newtown Borough. The event is a way for local bands and musicians to showcase their talents and the community to come together and celebrate Newtown.
During Porchstock, participants walk between houses at their own pace and in any order, stopping to listen to various musicians along the way. Attendees can bring their own folding chairs, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks to enjoy. They’re also encouraged to have a bite to eat at any of the Borough’s restaurants. 
At each location, maps will be available showing other Porchstock stops. Locations and musicians include*:

Now celebrating its 12th
season, McConkey’s Market attracts thousands of shoppers to its eclectic mix of nearly 100 vendors who sell artisan crafts, up-cycled items, handmade jewelry, original art and photography, pottery, vintage clothing, reclaimed furniture, and collectibles. The market also features live music and several food vendors. 
McConkey’s Market takes its name from the park’s McConkey Ferry Inn, parts of which date back to 1750. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era. Tradition has it that George Washington ate at the inn prior to his crossing of the Delaware River.

Newtown, PA – In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Zlock Performing Arts Center presents The Great American Songbook Piano Sessions on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM, an intimate contemporary concert experience honoring the songs, composers, and musical traditions that have helped create the soundtrack of America.
This special evening brings together four of Bucks County’s premier pianists — Charlie Ernst, Steve Kramer, Eric Mintel, and Tom Lawton — for a monumental celebration of our nation’s musical heritage.
Each featured pianist will take center stage for a 30-minute set of specially curated music, bringing a distinctive style, personality, and interpretation to selections inspired by the rich legacy of the Great American Songbook. From sophisticated standards and jazz favorites to melodies that have endured across generations, audiences can expect a program filled with musical surprises.
Rather than a traditional concert, The Great American Songbook Piano Sessions is designed to capture the warm, relaxed feeling of a private late-night performance shared among friends. With four remarkable pianists taking turns at the keys, no two sets will sound alike.
Adding to the excitement is an exceptional all-star rhythm section, featuring Lou Volpe on guitar, Motoki Mihara on bass, and Mark Pultorak on drums. Together, these outstanding musicians will provide the musical foundation for each pianist while creating the kind of spontaneity, interplay, and inspired musical conversation that makes live jazz so exciting.

Join us for our annual Fall Festival every Saturday &amp; Sunday starting on September 19th through October 25th 10-5pm.
Our Fall Festival is a ton of fun for families. Our activities/games are geared towards younger children.
Come enjoy Fall Fun on the Farm! Each child with a fall festival ticket will receive a sugar pumpkin ($2.50 value) to decorate at the pumpkin painting table!
Activities include pumpkin painting, Jump Pad, Hayride to the Pick Your Own Patch (pumpkins picked are priced per lb.), corn maze, straw mountain, corn pit, games, barrel cart rides, bubble station, and plenty to do for everyone. Facepainting is an additional fee and pony rides start on September 26th ($10 per ride).&nbsp;
Food trucks on site each weekend, plus food and snacks available in the farmstand, including our delicious apple cider slushies and donuts!
Tickets can be purchased online in advance of arriving at the farm, or in the farmstand. We are offering a morning and afternoon session. Tickets are $14.99 per person ages 2 and up.&nbsp;
