The Arlington Center

Suitable for all ages and current level of health, fitness and experience, these exercises are particularly useful for preventing or healing knee, hip, and low back problems. Older adults will appreciate marked improvements in balance and lower body strength. These are some of the ancient Chinese methods that make it possible for you to grow functionally younger over time. This foundational training (jibengong) is traditionally taught as preparation for authentic Daoist taiji (tai chi) and qigong, but you can enjoy its benefits whether or not you learn those practices. Used as daily self-care, these movements address your muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, bones, and nervous system, improve blood circulation, reduce pain, and create physical openness and stability while promoting healthy aging and longevity. More information & registration here!
