Coronavirus Prevention Tips Shared By Cobb Co. School District
Cobb County School District has release new coronavirus prevention tips for parents, although the risk to Georgians "remains low."

My name is Beth Ward, and I'm a veteran metro Atlanta-based writer, editor, and digital storyteller. A word-crafter and professional question asker. My bylines have previously been published in/on NPR, The Bitter Southerner, Atlanta Magazine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ArtsATL, Atlas Obscura, The Rumpus, BUST Magazine, and elsewhere. And I've also previously served as the books & film/TV manager for ArtsATL, and as managing editor for The Dream Warriors Foundation Magazine, the editorial arm of a Georgia non-profit that supports Atlanta women through grants and community outreach. I've also worked as a content creator for such brands and organizations as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Subway Restaurants.
I hold a B.A. in Communication from Mercer University, and when I'm not writing, you'll likely find me reading, browsing around thrift and antique shops, listening to live music somewhere or making a mess trying to bake something in my kitchen.
Beyond that, I'm passionate about the power of local news, and the way in which it can connect, inform and empower a community. Feel free to send along questions, comments, or news tips to beth.ward@patch.com
