Diane Jensen, Neighbor

Diane Neill Jensen is a retired writer and lifelong mystery enthusiast living in Hawaiʻi. She is the author of FERAL: The Windy City the first book in the FERAL mystery series with her Pen Name, D J KADE. They blend classic murder mysteries with subtle Therian themes and a strong sense of place.

In addition to fiction, Diane has written Esketaminefor Depression: Spravato Journal, inspired by her own experiences with treatment-resistant depression and a desire to help others navigate their healing journeys.

Her work explores identity, resilience, and the hidden currents beneath ordinary lives. When she's not writing, she enjoys crochet, creating handmade textiles, and dreaming up new mysteries set across the Pacific Rim.
