The Mimms Museum is open Thursday - Sunday, 12 - 5 PM. Special hours are posted on the website. Private school and group visits are available outside of open hours by submitting a request on the website under "Visit."

The mission of Mimms Museum of Technology and Art is to preserve the stories, artifacts, and artistic expressions shaped by technology while educating and inspiring visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Exhibits include a STEAM timeline of computer history, showcasing technology milestones in the context of transportation, pop culture, and more; a Tribute to Space Exploration featuring an almost full-scale replica of the lunar module, an Apollo Guidance Computer, and a DSKY; and one of the world's largest collections of Cray supercomputers. An Enigma machine, the BYTE magazine wall, Computers in the Movies, the Punchcard machine, the Art and Evolution of Chips, and the Nook Look round out the current exhibits. Dalí’s Lab: Surrealism Meets Tech is the current exhibit in The Gallery, and iNSPIRE: 50 Years of Innovation from Apple opens spring 2026.

Visitors can enjoy playing in the Retro Game Area and participate in other hands-on activities.

The museum offers over 10,000 square feet of event space for rent, accommodating both public and private events.
